MSU Welcomes University Representatives from USA Attending the International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP) in Thailand

On April 24, 2024, Mahasarakham University hosted a welcome event for 16 university representatives from the United States who attended the International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP) at AR–116 Conference room, Faculty of Architecture, Urban Design and Creative, Mahasarakham University.  Assoc.Prof. Prayook Srivilai, Ph.D., President of Mahasarakham University, gave a welcome speech to Ms. Alma Green, Public Engagement and Education Coordinator from the U.S. Embassy in Thailand and the 16 university representatives from; College of Southern Nevada, Colorado State University, Davidson-Davie Community College, Duke University, Georgia Gwinnett College, James Madison University, Joliet Junior College, Oklahoma City Community College, College Tufts University, University of Alabama, University of California, Davis University of Cincinnati, University of Massachusetts, Amherst University of Memphis, University of Nevada, University of South Alabama, and University of Wyoming.

Their visit aimed to facilitate academic exchanges and learning experiences in the fields of academia, research, and Northeastern Thai culture. Additionally, they collaborated on strategies to enhance cooperation between educational institutions in the United States and Mahasarakham University to develop the potential of staff and students through teaching, research, and other joint activities.

In this visiting event, representatives from educational institutions in the United States visited Mahasarakham University and its faculties and departments including the PharmCare Factory, Faculty of Pharmacy, Palaeontological Research and Education Centre, Center of Excellence for Silk Innovation, Technology Plasma Research Unit, Faculty of Science, American Corner, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Research and Development Unit for Smart City Solution (RDSC) at the Faculty of Architecture, Urban Design and Creative Arts. They also discussed collaboration and network building with representatives from the faculties and departments of Mahasarakham University.
